Bacio Salon Awarded 2026 SALON TODAY 200: Philanthropy Accolade for Compassion Fund

In its first year, The Bacio Compassion Fund granted over $25,000 in direct assistance to those in need within the community.

The SALON TODAY 200 awards, now in their 29th year, honor the top-performing salons and spas across North America, focusing on business acumen, growth, and excellence in various categories. Each year, the program highlights successful salon owners and best practices.
Stacey Sobel, Director of Brand Content Strategy, explained, “What is most important to us is how winners put their unique spin on achieving success and how it drives results in the community.” She continued, “In any year, winning would be an accomplishment, but this year it’s quite stellar. We saw an influx of new salons this year, which ramped up the competition for all.”
For 2026, 100 honorees were selected, with twelve being recognized for philanthropy. To qualify, a salon had to generate annual service and product sales revenue of at least $250,000 per year since 2023. Each salon was required to share statistical information about its business and complete two essays.
A special awards dinner will take place on May 17 in Austin, Texas. Honored businesses will enjoy dinner and a certificate ceremony, and six will receive special awards in specific categories.
Cannas offered, “I’m most proud to exemplify that you can be monetarily successful and be compassionate. It’s not just about the bottom line with us; having a positive impact on our community is equally important. My salon serves from a place of love, not competition.”
