PASADENA, CA, August 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit was a centerpiece of Pasadena’s 30th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Jefferson Park.
Visitors to the exhibit explored high-impact audio and visual displays, received free Truth About Drugs educational booklets covering substances like alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, and synthetics. Youth and community members took the “Drug-Free Pledge,” to be drug free and to set a good example to others.
The free event, hosted by the Pasadena Police Department with support from the Fire Department and community partners, also featured games, giveaways, resource booths, fire engines open for exploration, and opportunities to meet helicopter pilots and first responders.
The stars of the show were the mounted officers who rode through on horseback drawing excitement from children and adults alike.
“National Night Out celebrates the partnerships that keep Pasadena safe,” said Police Chief Gene Harris.
